Naíonáin Bheaga 2019/20, An Chéad Ghlúin Eile
D’oscail muid na doirse don bhliain scoile ar an Luan agus chuir muid fáilte roimh 16 de Naíonáin Bheaga nua, an chéad ghlúin eile de Gaeilgeoirí Bun Cranncha. Ba dheas aghaidheanna agus teaghlaigh nua a fheiceáil, chomh maith le teaghlaigh atá ann ó thús na scoile!
Tá achan duine ag socrú go maith sa rang, ní raibh oiread is deor amháin ann, fiú ó na múinteoirí!! Idir péinteáil, tógáil, dathú agus súgradh, tá na Naíonáin ag baint an-sult as bheith ar scoil. Ón Luan ar aghaidh, beidh na Naíonáin, atá ag foghlaim neamhspleachais cheana féin, ag dul go dtí an chlós ar maidin leis na páistí eile. Má fheiceann tú iad, beannaigh i nGaeilge iad- tá neart acu cheana féin!
We opened our doors on Monday for the new school year and welcomed 16 new Junior Infants, the next generation of Buncrana Irish speakers. It was lovely to see new faces and families, as well as families who have been with us from the start, and everybody in between!
The class are settling well and there were no tears at all on the first day, not even from the staff!! Between painting, building, colouring and playing, the infants are busy enjoying their first few days at Gaelscoil Bhun Cranncha. From Monday morning on, Junior Infants who are quickly becoming more independent, will assemble in the playground with all other pupils. Remember to say “Dia duit” if you meet them, they have lots of Gaeilge already!
